MNSKA band Jon Wayne and The Pain have been playing all over the country in support of their recent release Follow Through.  Here’s a fantastic video of the guys playing their songs “Move Away” and “Ska Cake Reggae” at The Cabooze in Minneapolis.

MNSKA band The Prizefighters had the privilege to open for legendary ska band The English Beat last night at The Cabooze in Minneapolis, MN.  Here’s a video from their set, with the band performing their songs “Storms” and “Brujeria.”

Last night, legendary ska group The English Beat played to a packed house at The Cabooze in Minneapolis, MN.  Here’s a video of the band performing “Tears Of A Clown.”  The show also featured MNSKA band The Prizefighters.

MNSKA band The Prizefighters have just been added to The English Beat show at The Cabooze in Minneapolis, MN on Sunday, April 3rd.  You still have until Friday to win a pair of tickets to the show by emailing mnskanews@gmail.com with ‘The English Beat’ in the subject line.  This show is 21+ with doors opening at 7 pm and music starting around 7:30 pm.

As reported earlier, The Prizefighters have a distribution deal with Jump Up Records, who will be releasing the vinyl version of their debut album Follow My Sound in the coming months.  For those who don’t know, they are a 7-piece band featuring saxophone, trombone, and organ supplementing the guitars and drums that combines heavy soul with real 60s Jamaican ska and early reggae.

MNSKA band GOULASH has just released their first music video!  The video, for the song “Birdies” on their Good Luck Knowing You EP, was filmed at their show in January at The Cabooze in Minneapolis.  The video was put together by Chris Glenn of Blue Lamb Media Group.

MNSKA reggae-rockers GOULASH invited Jam’s Space’s Jim Dupont into their practice space.  Jim shot this video of the band performing their song “Freaks” from their Good Luck Knowing You EP.  GOULASH will be headlining a show at The Cabooze tomorrow night, with T.U.G.G., Mikel Wright & The Wrongs, and Just Add Water.

Jim Dupont, friend of MNSKA and the force behind Jam’s Space, is putting on a big show at The Cabooze in Minneapolis on Thursday, January 13th!  MNSKA band GOULASH will be headlining the 18+ event which will feature special guest performances by WI reggae rock band T.U.G.G., Mikel Wright and The Wrongs, and MN band Just Add Water.

Doors open at 8:30 pm and tickets are only $6 at the door.  There will be tons of giveaways including merchandise from Jam’s Space, GOULASH, Northern Pine Longboards, and Positive Island Vibrations PLUS lift tickets and festival passes from Pow Wow in the Pines Music Festival.
