When a band calls it quits, you got to send them off in the proper fashion.  According to Courtney, it’s interviewing them backstage at their farewell show.  This week’s guests are Minneapolis pop-ska band Sans Pants.  Listen in as the band discusses their recent breakup, their upcoming CD release, and why they worship at the Church of Aaron Barrett.  Stay tuned to the end of the show where we give you an exclusive preview of the new full-length album from Sans Pants.

MNSKA pop-ska band Sans Pants has decided to call it quits and last Thursday played their last show in the Twin Cities at the Fine Line Music Cafe.  The band played an extended set, including new songs on their upcoming album.  They will be featured on the Flyover Ska Show podcast in the near future, but for the time being enjoy these videos from their farewell performance!

MNSKA band Sans Pants will be taking the stage for one last time this Thursday, April 8th at the Fine Line Music Cafe in Minneapolis, MN.  Joining them as they ride off into the sunset is Skinny Longfeet as well as MNSKA bands Secondhand Ska Kings and Rocksteady Breakfast.  According to Sans Pants frontman Jade Warpeha, this may also turn into a CD release show of sorts for both Sans Pants and Secondhand Ska Kings.  Doors are 7:30pm for this 21+ show with tickets only $5 at the door.  I hope to see you all there!

Time to dust off your dancin’ shoes and head downtown to the Fine Line Music Cafe in Minneapolis, MN tomorrow night (Thursday, February 18th) to see MNSKA bands 2 Tone Runts and Sans Pants as well as the band Trees In Training for a 21+ show!  The show starts at 7pm and is only $5, of course you can do that math from the poster.  See you there!

There’s a big old-fashioned Oktoberfest celebration happening over at Gasthof’s Zur Gemutlichkeit in NE Minneapolis, MN!  Come down and celebrate on Wednesday, October 14th with some of MNSka’s finest ska bands Secondhand Ska Kings, Sans Pants, and Panel of Experts.  The music for this 21+ show starts at 9:30pm and the cover is only $3.  Heck, this isn’t Oktoberfest…it’s SKATOBERFEST!

There is a big MNSka show coming up on Sunday, July 26th!  Midwest ska veterans 3 Minute Hero are dusting off their suits for the first time in 2 years for an all-out ska explosion at the Fine Line Music Cafe in Minneapolis.  The show also marks the return of MNSka band Sajak who have been “on hiatus” since November 2008.  They will be back in a big way with new songs, new merch, and a snazzy new banner!  Joining in the fun will be MNSka band Sans Pants.  This 18+ show starts at 7pm.
