We’re trying out some of our new technology here at MNSKA.com to allow you to check out pictures from all the local ska shows. To start us out, MNSKA band Sajak played with legendary ska band The Toasters back in October at the Triple Rock Social Club in Minneapolis, MN. Show Announcement: Sajak at U of M 11/13

MNSka band Sajak will be playing a show on Friday the 13th at the University of Minnesota as part of the BOWLING WITH THE BANDS program. The show will take place in the basement of Coffman Memorial Union in Goldy’s Gameroom where they will setting up a stage on the lanes of the bowling alley. The show is entirely FREE with the music starting at 11pm. Come down and bowl some frames and hear some the state’s best ska music! Did I mention there will be a free ice cream sundae bar?

This program is put on by the Student Activities Board at the University of Minnesota as part of the Gophers After Dark series. For more information about the show, go HERE.

This video was taken at the October 22nd show at the Triple Rock Social Club in Minneapolis, MN by our own Patrick Larson. The show was a great time for all that showed up and it featured the bands The Toasters, Sajak, Rocksteady Breakfast and Panel of Experts.

Video: Sajak “Meet Sajak (LIVE)”

MNSka band Sajak played a shortened set due to time restraints last Thursday when they opened for The Toasters at the Triple Rock, but resident MNSKa videographer Patrick Larson was able to capture the band playing their theme song “Meet Sajak” which is featured on their full-length debut Kick It Back To Health.

AV Club writes about upcoming Toasters show

The local Twin Cities chapter of The Onion’s AV Club recently posted an article about the upcoming Toasters show at the Triple Rock Social Club in Minneapolis, MN on Thursday, October 22nd. The 18+ show starts at 8pm and also features the MNSka bands Sajak, Rocksteady Breakfast, and Panel Of Experts.

Just a reminder that we have a HUGE ska show happening this Thursday, October 22nd at the Triple Rock Social Club in Minneapolis, MN brought to you by MP Shows. NYC ska veterans The Toasters are back again along with the sweet local sounds from MNSka bands Sajak, Rocksteady Breakfast, and Panel of Experts. The show is 18+ and doors ar at 8pm.

America’s longest-running ska band, The Toasters, will be returning to Minneapolis, MN on Thursday, October 22nd for a big MNSka party! The legendary NYC band will be playing at the Triple Rock Social Club with MNSka bands Sajak, Rocksteady Breakfast, and Panel of Experts. The 18+ party starts at 8 pm with tickets going for $12. You can pickup tickets ahead of time at the Triple Rock or order them online HERE.

The MNSka Mixtape Volume One will also be available at the show, so pick up a copy if you don’t have one yet!

MNSka rudeboys Rocksteady Breakfast recently played a ska-fueled set at the GYLBOTS Reunion/Farewell show at Eclipse Records in St. Paul, MN. MNSka’s Patrick Larson shot this video of them performing their song “Quien Tu?”

Be sure to catch Rocksteady Breakfast when they play at Beaner’s Central in Duluth, MN with Mikey Talented on October 16th. They are also playing with The Toasters and Sajak at the Triple Rock on October 22nd.

MNSka band Sajak has posted their debut album Kick It Back To Health on iTunes. The album was recorded by the band and self-released in 2007. To download their album, click HERE.

Sajak is hard at work on their followup to Kick It Back To Health and will be playing at the Lowertown Block Party on Saturday, September 19th in Mears Park in Downtown St. Paul, MN.
