Sublime With Rome debuts first single “Panic”

Monday, May 9th, 2011

You all know the story by now.  More than a decade after the tragic death of Bradley Nowell, the remaining members of Sublime recruited a new member Rome Ramirez and after several lawsuits, they were forced to change their name to Sublime With Rome.  In the recent months, the band announced that they had signed with Fueled By Ramen and were recording a full-length album Yours Truly to be released on that label on July 12th.

The band has debuted the first single “Panic” on KROQ.  You can hear the song HERE

Not quite the Sublime of old, but definitely not as bad as you think!

Video: Sublime with Rome “40 oz To Freedom” (Live in Montreal)

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

Resurrected and controversial reggae-ska act Sublime with Rome is currently on tour.  Here’s a video from their Montreal tour date playing the classic song “40 oz. To Freedom.”  Sublime originally called it quits in 1996 in the wake of the death of frontman Bradley Nowell.  In the past couple years, the remaining original members brought in a young new frontman and are touring North America as Sublime with Rome.

Big thanks to our friends at Ska Montreal for the video!
