According to the site Dream Not Of Today, Boston ska band Big D and the Kids Table‘s drummer Jon Reilly left the band in the middle of writing their recently released album Fluent In Stroll. The band’s Sean Rogan explained:
Our old drummer decided to leave the band in the very middle of writing Fluent in Stroll. We were demoing songs and rehearsing five days a week and he just decided it wasn’t for him anymore.
The band’s frontman David McWane played drums on the album. Taking over drumming duties for their dates on the Vans Warped Tour is Derek Davis, who had to quickly learn over 20 songs.
