Video: Big D “Making of Fluent In Stroll (7 of 9)”
Wednesday, January 6th, 2010This is the seventh of nine episodes of the making of the album Fluent In Stroll by Big D and the Kids Table. In this episode, we see Joe Gittleman laying down percussion and back up vocal tracks, Rich Stein (Drum Master, long time friend and the 1st Big D fan ever) lays down his amazing percussion tracks, and the whole group and friends in the studio record back up vocals. We will continue posting new episodes as they become available.
MNSka’s resident videographer Patrick Larson attended the Vans Warped Tour on Sunday, August 2nd at Canterbury Park and was able to take some videos for us. We’re certainly glad he did since this year was jam packed with ska bands. We posted earlier a video of MNSka band
Boston ska-punkers Big D and the Kids Table have about 14 years of rocking steady under their belts. Known for their breakneck DIY drive and their energetic frenzied sound, the band released their latest album, Fluent In Stroll, which takes the group to a new place musically.
