Judge Rules Against Sublime’s Name
On Tuesday, a Los Angeles Judge shut down the efforts of Bud Gaugh, Eric WIlson and new member Rome Ramirez to perform under the name “Sublime.”
The band’s new incarnation faced controversy from the start by performing again under the name Sublime after the family of deceased lead singer Bradley Nowell objected. On October 21st, a trademark infringement suit was filed against the band’s new incarnation.
